Bocas del Toro, Panamá

From the border of Costa Rica, in the small town of Sixaola, it’s only a  45 minute drive to the water taxi docks, and another 25 minute ride on a water taxi boat, to arrive to Colon Island.Close to this island are a lot of good spots to do snorkeling. Because of the clearness of the ocean water, it’s a perfect area to enjoy observing underwater life.

There are many  tours that are available, like Playa las Estrellas,(Star fish beach) 

First we will go searching for dolphins, to observe their behavior as they go swimming by the boat.

Snorkeling is awesome! With some 92 different types of corals, in a rainbow of colors, and many shapes and forms, make this an excellent place to enjoy nature and it’s beauty.

At lunch time, we will enjoy some carribean cuisine with a unique ocean view.

After lunch we are going to visit Red Frog beach. The colors of the water and the sky…, it’s just beautiful!
